A New Library for Wakefield Girls High School

Wakefield Girls High School opens its doors to a new school year with a new Library.

The school holidays may have been a time for the students to reflect up on their last year and prepare for their next but whilst the classrooms stood dormant the library was undergoing a huge transformation.

The existing library has been turned in to a space that can be utilised throughout the whole day. It is safe to say that this space will never again be used only for reading.

The multifunctional space boasts a new interior with areas for teaching, group discussions, reading and relaxing. The previous space was dark and worn but the new interior is bright and airy with splashes of colour to excite the eye.

The students should now not only need to use this space but want to use it.
